WIN DAVIS
Executive Director
Since joining the Town Green District in 2001, Win has held several different positions in the organization before becoming Executive Director in 2012. Win has spearheaded a team dedicated to enhancing the Downtown New Haven experience through public space programs & improvements as well as events, such as the New Haven Night Market, Flights of Fancy, the family Fun Zone at the St. Patrick's Day parade & more.
A lifelong CT resident and long-time resident of Greater New Haven, Win earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 963 in Woodbridge and graduated from Amity High School in 1998, going on to earn bachelors’ degrees in History & Psychology from the University of Vermont as a member of the class of 2002. Win is a recipient of the New Haven Business Times “Forty Under 40” award, a graduate of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce’s GNH Leadership program, and he received a Rising Star Award from Business Times New Haven in 2012. Through the International Downtown Assocation, Win was a speaker at the 2013 and 2015 annual conferences and chosen to participate in the IDA’s prestigious Emerging Leader Fellowship in 2016. Since 2018, Win has been a juror on the IDA Awards Committee, reviewing & selecting the best projects in our industry each year. In 2024 Win was honored to receive the Cornelius Driscoll Award “for outstanding community service” from the Associated Irish Societies of Greater New Haven, a longtime partner of Town Green. Under Win’s leadership, The Town Green District has seen steady growth of our programming in support of district constituent’s property values.
Win’s current volunteer work involves serving on New Haven Festivals, Inc. and Liberty Community Services Board of Directors. Liberty Community Services is dedicated to ending homelessness in Greater New Haven, offering services to those experiencing homelessness who are living with HIV/AIDS, mental illness and/or addiction.

MATTHEW GRISWOLD
Deputy Director
Matthew has been with Town Green since the winter of 2013 where he began as Manager of Public Spaces, since becoming the District’s Deputy Director.
In his time at Town Green, he has directed the implementation of public space improvements in District 9, the Downtown Ambassador program, civic beautification, activating public spaces, streetscape improvements and other popular amenities such as the Terrasse outdoor dining program, street navigational signage, & the bistro table and chair public seating program.

TERRENCE MCINTOSH
Ambassador Manager
Terrence McIntosh has been managing the Downtown Ambassador Program at Town Green District since 2015. He enjoys the dynamic challenges of working at Town Green and is responsible for the program’s Clean, Safe, and Hospitality services. The Program is dedicated to enhancing New Haven as a great place to work, visit, and do business. Before joining Town Green, Terrence worked in his family's restaurant business, where he handled operational efficiency, cost control, and scheduling.
Originally from Connecticut, he enjoys working in and for a city he has known throughout his life and now visits often with his two daughters.

FRANCESCA VIGNOLA
director OF MARKETING & EVENTS
Francesca began at Town Green District in the spring of 2018, coming from a background of nonprofit fundraising, communications, design, and event management at organizations both inside and outside of the Greater New Haven area.
Originally from Northern New Jersey, Francesca has been a downtown New Haven resident for approaching 10 years now, and her love for NHV only continues to grow! She is proud to live in a city with such a diverse array of arts & culture, food, and nature, and greatly values that her chosen home is a Sanctuary City.
When she’s not liking your Instagram posts of New Haven or planning events, she spends her time attending as many as she can, dining (and taking food photos) at the city’s countless delicious eateries, making friends with downtown’s canine population, traveling, and attending tons of concerts. In addition to Stephanie & Vesta, she also manages and houses Town Green’s Director of Office Morale, Bug. (Scroll to end of page for his bio.)

TARA VON SCHMIDT
Special Projects MANAGER
Tara joined Town Green in the summer of 2021, as the Special Projects Coordinator. Originally from Connecticut, she’s spent many years working in non-profit management, event production and with public art initiatives in New York City. She is excited to be back home, working directly with the community of New Haven and exploring new ways to involve public art Downtown.
When not working, you can most likely find her traveling, hiking, seeing live music or hanging out with her cat, Tony.

VESTA BORTEY-FIO
Events Coordinator
Vesta was born and raised in Connecticut and attended school in New Haven. With a background in human services, and event coordinating both within and outside of Connecticut, Vesta has cultivated a diverse skill set. Her connection to New Haven is deep-rooted, with an appreciation for its museums, culinary scene (as a self-proclaimed foodie), vibrant events, and the picturesque landscapes during the spring and summer months.
In early summer 2024, Vesta joined the Town Green District, bringing her expertise and passion for community engagement to enhance the District's initiatives and events. Her love for New Haven drives her commitment to making a positive impact on the community she holds dear.
STEPHANIE FELIX
EVENTS & COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT
Stephanie began at Town Green in the summer of 2022 as the Events & Communications Assistant. After working with the New Haven Free Public Library, Stephanie is very excited to now put her degree in Advertising & Integrated Communications, from Quinnipiac University, to use in the downtown New Haven community in which she grew up.
She loves Downtown New Haven events, whether working the table at our own or attending any of the many others the city offers. When she’s not working, you can most likely find her reading, making friendship bracelets, and adding cool new stickers to her trusty water bottle.

BUG
Director of office morale & official downtown greeter
Bug joined the Town Green District team on April 1, 2020, jumping into his duties enthusiastically and immediately exceeding expectations on all assignments. Bug enjoys long walks around downtown, attention, the Temple Plaza pet relief area, O.P.P. (other people’s puppies), and strawberry-flavored whipped cream.
